Client FAQ: How Large is Too Large for Email Attachments?

Although many email addresses may accept messages that are up to 10 MB in size, and fewer accepting up to 20 MB, these sizes can make mail delivery very sluggish and unreliable. The ideal size for email attachments is not to exceed 5 MB.

If you need to send a file (or files) to CDT larger than 5 MB, please log on and upload to your client folder at www.OnlineFileFolder.com. If you do not know your login or do not have a client folder assigned, please email creative@cdtdesign.com to request login or folder assignment. Please advise before uploading file(s) exceeding 250 MB. Thanks!

25 Beautiful Examples of Tilt-Shift Photography

Posted by WDCore Editorial

In this article, you’ll learn that how you can transform snaps of real full size subject matter into what looks like small scenes, all with the help of Tilt-Shift Photography. There are two ways to achieve this; either use Photoshop or use your camera with a special lens to control the rotation relative to the image plane and movement parallel to the image plane, tilt and shift.

Tilt controls what is in focus and shift allows you to change the line of sight while keeping it parallel to the subject being shot. In both cases, the results are simply amazing. Just have a look at these photos!

Client FAQ: PDF... Print-Ready, or Not?

How to tell if a PDF sent to you from CDT is print-ready, or not. The way to know if the PDF is a high-res, print-ready PDF is by the file name given to the PDF. The characters “_hr” (that’s, underscore hr) are ALWAYS appended to a PDF that is high-res and print-ready, so internally it is known that the PDF is good to go to the printer/publication. If it does NOT have the “_hr” appended to the end of the file name, then the PDF is just a low-res proof and is NOT print-ready.

EXAMPLE: MyDesignProject_hr.pdf
